Meet the team

Rich and I are lucky enough to live locally. Rich works for Vines Farm and has done so for the past 25 years. I am a veterinary nurse working at a veterinary nurse training college, supporting student nurses in their practical development. I also work at an emergency veterinary clinic on weekends.

The idea to set up this secure meadow was born when we adopted Djenga. A flighty street dog from the Greek island of Samos. I had no intention of bringing a "souvenir" home after a volunteer stint at an animal rescue centre, but it just happened!

We realised that many owners have concerns with letting their dogs off the lead for whatever reason. The anxious and the misfits, the bullies and the flight risks, the scroungers and the crazies, all need a safe space to enjoy some freedom.

Rich, myself, Bobbi and Djenga hope that you can enjoy this space as much as we do.
