Just off the main square, this pub is the ideal location for a good night out in Ruthin. There is a small car park at the rear of the pub, but also ample parking around the town. You will find that the locals like to have a good time here...so if its quaint and quiet that you're after...this pub aint' it!
...No...you need to be in party mode on music nights, so you better come prepared.
There are two main rooms that are seperated by the bar...to the left is where the live music is played...where you will find Rundogrun...to the right is a smaller room dedicated to socializing it seems. The staff are a friendly bunch, as too is the manager of the pub who if I recall correctly is an Irishman (which is why this is probably the best pub in Ruthin)
As you can see by the few pics we took last time we played...the girls like to sing along(in thier own way) to all the songs...knowing the words or not...it is this that prompted us to get together a chorus sheet to hand out before we play...so no excuses about not joining in...even the French ones!
