Based in Gwynedd North Wales, Run.dog.run have spent many years together crafting and shaping their sound, and play original, dynamic uplifting music with a passion that’s hard to resist. Their love of live music (and keeping music live) is very apparent, and they rarely fail to get their audiences involved in the performance.

Their style of playing is often mistaken as Cajun or Zydeco when in reality it’s neither. Using ‘influences’ from these genres (and others) they’ve made something their own -in a contemporary and imaginative way – while creating a ‘genuine’ feel to their music.

Run.dog.run are becoming increasingly popular with festival-goers. And the vibrant ‘good times’ feel to their music is what one would wish for (and expect) at these events.

With their CD finally re-mastered and re-released, (Run.dog.run CD0016) Run.dog.run are getting airplay on many radio stations (both Folk and popular music), and had one of their tracks used as the opening theme to an American radio show for a year.

The band have just put the finishing touches to a ‘Live’ promotional CD, and are currently in the process of writing and recording material for their next project.

Run.dog.run have supported Gordon Giltrap, and later this year will be supporting Dr Feelgood.

They play it tight, they play it well– and what emerges is a lovely feel-good, high energy ambience. This is infectiously happy smiley music. Music that’s hard to sit still to, and not only that –it’s good for the soul!
