The Fleece Sessions have been held evey Tuesday for the past 17 years or so. Sessions start around 9.00pm, and finish around midnight - (this depends on whether or not there are residents staying in the rooms above the pub) - and can often finish later.

Our regular core of musicians play - Accordion, Banjo's, Guitars, Fiddle and Mandolin, and play a very eclectic and popular set. In the past we have had over 20 musicians vying to play, and many of our visiting musicians are now familiar faces returning year after year to join us!

The session can be very different every week, althuogh during the summer season the music tends to focus on louder or more raucous tunes to overcome the volume of visitors in the pub.

Space for visiting musicians can sometimes be at a premium as many visitors who come for a bar snack remain in their seats to enjoy the music. So - If you want to join in - simply turn up with your instrument - and don't be shy - Make yourself known - We don't bite!
